About "Any One of Us"The Lesbian Leadership Council and POW-WOW, Inc. are proud to present a benefit performance of Eve Ensler's play "Any One of Us: Words from Prison," a groundbreaking collection of monologues written by over 50 incarcerated or formerly incarcerated women in the United States and commissioned by V-Day. The piece reveals the connection between women in prison and the violence that often brings them there with honesty and sincerity. The Lesbian Leadership Council will use proceeds from this benefit for their Lavender Fund, which awards grants to LBT-run organizations in the Chicago area. POW-WOW, Inc. will use proceeds to continue and expand their Juvenile Justice SheSpeaks and Crisis Care programs.
